Until We Meet Again
We think about you always,
We talk about you still,
You have never been forgotten, and you never will
We hold you close to our hearts,
And there you will remain,
To walk and guide us through our lives,
Until we meet again.
“Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses,” (1 Timothy 6:12 NIV). On Saturday, February 4, 2023, God called home our beloved father, Timothy “Timmy” Novel Perrin, to his eternal resting place. His life’s journey began on, August 28, 1949, in York County, the son of the late Robert E Perrin, Sr. and Annie Lewis Perrin.
“Timmy” spent his high school years at James Weldon Johnson School and went on to obtain his certification in masonry from, Job Corp. He worked many years for Tombs Masonry and Chisman Masonry. He loved being a brick layer and would often talk about his days on the job. On October 31, 1971, he married Ernestine Hill. This union was blessed with a daughter.
He was an avid supporter of the York Stars and spent many weekends at the baseball field with family. “Timmy” had such a caring spirit and was always dressed sharp. We are thankful to God for the many years He allowed us to share with him. We know that our loss is Heaven’s gain, and he will never suffer again.
Timothy was preceded in death by, the mother of his daughters, Teresa Douglas; daughter, Dominica Perrin; and siblings, Lillie Mae Pierce, Joyce T. Perrin, Annie Spriggs, Sarah R. Lewis, Delores “LP” Perrin, Patricia “Pat” Dennis, Robert E. Perrin, Harry Perrin, Theodis Perrin, and Clarence Perrin.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters, Michelle Douglas, Nyoka Claiborne, and Tynicha Douglas; grandchildren, Khristina Douglas, Trey Teel, Dachelle Watts, Endyiana Teel, Steven Jr. Harris, Frankie Watts, Dominica Douglas, Rhianna Richardson, and Honesty Douglas; sisters, Elsie Chandler, Maggie Carter, Juanita Carter (John), and Vatrice Sessions; brothers, Charles Perrin and Kenneth Perrin; favorite cousin, James Perrin Sr.; lifelong friend, Bay Chisman; and a host of other loving relatives and caring friends.
