Felipe Arroyo-Olivo (Altmeyer Funeral Home – Denbigh Chapel)

Felipe Arroyo-Olivo, 72, of Newport News Virginia, passed away on February 1, 2023, after a short and courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Toabaja, Puerto Rico. After high school, he served in Vietnam from 1969 – 1971 and retired from the U.S. Army in 1993 at Ft. Eustis, Virginia. He continued working until his final retirement in 2013. He enjoyed cruises and vacations with his wife, spending time with his family, treasuring his grandchildren, and comforting and spoiling his rescue fur babies Toby and Ryland. He was an amazing husband and father with a humble spirit and unwavering loyalty.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Marion Arroyo; children, Felipe Arroyo, Jr., Felicia Kraintz (Anthony) and Jessica Arroyo; grandchildren, Andre Arroyo-Wright and Harper Kraintz; mother, Trinidad Olivo-Vargas; sister Lina Sempritt (Alberto) brother Ralphael Arroyo-Olivo, and close family in Germany, sister-in-law Christiane Seipp, Harald Seipp, and Sophia Seipp.
