Craig Wallace, 57, of Rocky Mount

Craig Wallace was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 16, 2022, at Duke Medical Hospital, Durham, NC. He was born on October 17, 1965, in Plainfield, New Jersey, to Sylvester Wallace and Barbara Bowers.  Craig was the youngest of four brothers and one sister.

Craig made his home in Rocky Mount, NC, where he resided for many years. He was employed as a Production Operator at Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company, Rocky Mount, NC, since 2019.

While it is difficult to say, “So long for now,” it is because of his faith in Christ that we mourn with the hope of the promise of the Gospel.

He was predeceased by his dad, Sylvester Wallace, in 2020, mother, Barbara Bowers, in 2004, and his older brother, Harold Wallace, in 1980. Surviving are his two sons, Kevin C. Wallace of Long Beach, CA and Caleb H. Wallace of Lumberton, NC; daughters, Shakera M. Wallace of Baltimore, MD and Jericka A. Wallace of Wilson, NC; one granddaughter, Malani M. Wallace of Long Beach, CA, two brothers, Kurt W. Wallace of Hampton, VA and Derek Madden of Lakeland, FL; one sister, Gina L. Maree of Piscataway, NJ; one daughter-in-law, Rayna Wallace; sixteen nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Whiting’s Funeral Home. Livestream will be available at the beginning of the service. Mr. Wallace may be viewed beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the time of his service in the funeral home.  Facial coverings are required for all services.
