Samuel Shelton “Sam” Palmer received his wings on Thursday, November 10, 2022. His life began on July 26, 1957, son of the late John Frank and Annie Mason Palmer.
Sam was born and raised in York County, Virginia, and graduated from York High School. He loved his family and his favorite football team, the Washington Commanders. He worked for Suburban Disposal for over fifteen years before retiring from Kings Mill Xanterra after fifteen years of service.
He leaves to cherish his wonderful memories his sisters, Julia Palmer Brooks, Virginia Palmer, Josephine Palmer, and Mary Jane Palmer; brothers, Robert Palmer (Novella) and Willie Mason; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and many caring friends.
