Sarah Grinnell Grandel-Robinson was born on Friday, September 10, 1943, to the late Carie and Grant Grinnell in Sumter, South Carolina. She retired after many years of service as a cook for the Colonial Foodservice Foundation in Virginia.
She leaves to cherish her blessed memories, with her husband, Herman Robinson of Rentz, Georgia; daughter, Faye Grandel; sons, Robert, Ronnie, and Randy Grandel; four brothers, Grant ( Mary) Grinnell, Jr., Freddie Lee Sr., Richard Grinnell, Ben Edmon Grinnell, all of Sumter, South Carolina; two sisters, Annie Mae Grinnell Romeo and Denise Grinnell of Sumter, South Carolina.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022 in Whiting’s Funeral Home. Live stream will be available at the beginning of the service. Interment to follow in Williamsburg Memorial Park. Mrs. Grandell-Robinson may be viewed on Friday beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Facial coverings are required for all services.
