Mrs. Deborah “Deby” Louise Spaetzel went to be with the Lord on November 12, 2022 at the age of 67.
A devoted wife and mother, Deby was known for her steadfast faith and love for others. A former church teacher, avid genealogist, prayer warrior and reader, Deby was a second mother to many in the community, always quick to offer help and advice to others.
Deby is survived by her husband, Edwin Spaetzel; her children, Heather (Donnie) Bowling, Michael (Devon) Wall, and Matthew (Alana) Spaetzel; her grandchildren, Kaleigh Bowling, Braxton, Landon and Tyson Wall; and her Father, Harold Ashburn. She is preceded in death by her mother, Louise Ashburn.
A service celebrating her life is being held at Grace Baptist Church at 1013 Penniman Road in Williamsburg VA on Friday November 18, 2022 at 11AM.
