Maureen Marie Manns, 72, of Barhamsville, VA, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 9, 2022.
Maureen was born in Basildon, Essex England, to the late James and Josie Bandick. She was an avid reader and loved to garden. Maureen also loved animals especially horses. Although gardening and animals were some of her favorites, her greatest love was saved for her children and family. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Maureen is survived by her husband of 55 years, Alan Manns; her two sons, David Alan Manns (Margie), Christopher James Manns (Melanie); her daughter Melissa Marie Delano (Robert); nine grandchildren, Emma, Haley, Chandler, Mya, Chase, Molly, Zoe, Liam and Hannah.
A celebration of life will be held 4p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 3105 Ridge Dr., Toano, VA 23168. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, online at www.cancer.org, or American Cancer Society P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741.
