Herulano G. Salais- father, brother, husband and friend, passed on to our Heavenly Home on Monday, May 16th, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Paula Salais, and sister, Sylvia. He leaves his wife, Hope; sister, Yvonne; two sons, Richard and Michael; three daughters, Lisa, Alyssa and Kimberly; seven grandchildren, Michael, Lydia, Daniel, Michaela, Jasper, Josiah and Phoenix; two great-grandchildren, Sebastian and Alice; and many more loving family and friends who will remember him always.
“Herc” was a strong follower of God and was devoted to sharing the word and love of the Holy Spirit. His faith never left him throughout his life and will continue to inspire us all. He enjoyed reading the Bible, being with his family, and gardening. We thank God for our time with him and know he’s waiting for us in a better place.
A graveside service will be held 11 AM, Saturday, May 21st at Sunny Slope Cemetery in West Point, VA. A celebration of life gathering will follow at New Hope Methodist Church, 2489 Lewis B Puller Hwy, Saluda VA 23149.
