He was a master carpenter by trade, working as a Union contractor in New York City for many years, but his real passion was building.

In the later half of his life, he moved from New York to Virginia. He took a vacant plot of land and went on to design and build his waterfront dream home. There he and his second wife, Irene, would enjoy their retirement home together.
Al’s love for all things outdoors truly shined here. Situated in a remote area directly on the water was ideal for the things he loved to do; Boating, fishing, crabbing, gardening, chickens, pigeons, tinkering, and collecting antiques.
Al lived a very spirited life, who was the life of the party and loved a good time. His doors were always open to neighbors, friends and family. The gatherings they hosted will be missed by everyone.
Memorial Services will be announced shortly and will be held in both NY and VA. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
