Gerald “Jerry” G. Keller Jr., 91, of Hampton

Gerald “Jerry” G. Keller Jr. (Weymouth Funeral Home & Crematory)

Gerald “Jerry” G. Keller Jr. was called to his eternal home on May 4, 2022 at the age of 91, surrounded by his loved ones. Jerry was born to Gerald G. Keller Sr. and Mildred Keller in Arlington, Virginia. Jerry was a loving husband for 66 years to his wife Anne, a son, brother, Pop-Pop and friend to many. He graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute (presently VT) in the first graduating class of Aeronautical Engineering in 1952. After attending VPI, he served as an Officer in the U.S. Air Force for four years, where he then decided to move to La Mirada, California to continue his career as an Aeronautical Engineer at Rockwell International. After sixteen years, he and his family returned to their East Coast roots. Jerry began working for Unisys Corporation as the East Coast Regional Vice President, where he ultimately retired. After his retirement, you could find Jerry on the golf course, at the farm with his friends or traveling to his second home at Lake Gaston where “Life is Good.” Above all, Jerry enjoyed spending his time with his grandchildren and watching them grow-up over the years. He was one proud Pop-Pop.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Mildred Keller, his wife, Anne P. Keller, his oldest son, Gerald “Jerry” Keller III, and son-in-law Arthur A. Alexander.  He is survived by his son Kenny (Rhonda), daughter Cathy, daughter-in-law Cindy; grandchildren Torian (DJ), Ashley (Josh), K.C., Hunter; great-grandchildren Caedance, Keller, Micayla, Cassius; brother Gene (Sue) and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life for Jerry and his wife Anne will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Weymouth Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to go to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
