Benjamin Edward Little Bear Hogge, 44

PROVIDENCE FORGE — Benjamin Edward Little Bear Hogge, 44, departed this life on April 2, 2022.

He was a member of the Eastern Division of the Chickahominy Indian Tribe. Benjamin worked with many organizations throughout his career in public safety, including the Providence Forge Volunteer Rescue Squad, Henrico Emergency Services, West Point Police Department, New Kent Sheriff’s Office, York County, and Charles City County. He made many friends within the public safety system.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Benjamin and Llewellyn Stuck, Ernest and Althea Hogge; and a step-brother, Phillip D. Morris.

He is survived by his mother, Theresa Stuck Morris (Richard); his father, Norman K. Hogge; a step-sister, Kimberly Morris Henshaw; Theresa’s sister, Carol Stuck Stewart (William E. Buck); cousins Wes, Tracie, and Trey; Norman’s sisters, Linda Hogge Adkins (Irwin), Joanne Hogge Howard (Sam); Norman’s brothers, William Hogge, Kerry, and David; and his partner and friend, Kevin Luck.
