HAMPTON — Jacqueline Leandra Chicarelli, 59, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at her home. She was born at Ft. Dix, NJ. Jacqueline grew up in Bethel Manor and graduated from Tabb High School. She met her husband, John Chicarelli while working at Shorewood Packaging. She made lifelong friends wherever she worked and lived, including those she met as a clerk at 7-11. When she made a friend, it was for life! Her family and friends were her world. Her heart was so big – she was always there to help a stranger and a friend alike. Her family was baptized together where they accepted the Lord as a family.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, CMSgt Alfred and Rebecca Allmon. She is survived by her husband, John Chicarelli; her children, Jordan and Kendal Chicarelli; her brother, Jon Allmon and his wife, Melissa; her niece, Scarlett Allmon; her nephew, Sawyer Allmon; brother-in-law, Vincent Chicarelli and his wife, Teresa; sisters-in-law, Mary Mixon and her husband, Joe; Rose Weaver and her husband, Lloyd, Jo Hoegerman and her husband, David; nieces and nephews, Christian and his wife, Kayla, Jessica, Alyssa, Caitlin, Lauren, Savannah and Raina and her great-niece, June and her best friends, Denise Hadwick and Kim Occhiuti.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00p.m., Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Weymouth Funeral Home by Rev. Dennis Worsham. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Peninsula Food Bank, 2401 Aluminum Ave. Hampton, VA 23661.
