CHARLES CITY — Kevin S. Hart was born on August 26, 1963, Bronx, New York to Evelyn H. Seldon Hart of Charles City, VA and Samuel Hart of New York City. Kevin was preceded in death by his mother and father. He joined Parrish Hill Baptist Church at the age of 13. During his high school years Kevin attended the Richmond Technical Center and graduated from Charles City High School, after which he attended Smithdeal Massey Business College and J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. Kevin joined the U.S. Air Force, spending several years on duty in the Philippines.
After being discharged, he was employed by Old Dominion Security and soon employment followed at Richmond City as a carpenter’s helper for several years. He loved animals and enjoyed playing piano, creating music to accompany a group of friends for various church and social events. Kevin was easy-going, talented, and well-liked by all. He will be sorely missed. Kevin leaves to cherish his memory, his loving step-father Cornelius H. Black Sr.; brothers Bryan S. Hart and Cornelius (Kim) H. Black, Jr., and scores of additional relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA.
