NEWPORT NEWS — Roger Lee Ferguson, 71, passed away December 17, 2021. Originally from San Diego, California, and Gadsden, Alabama, his most recent home was Newport News, Virginia near his family. He leaves his daughter & son-in-law, Kendall & Chris Perry of Newport News, and many good friends to share his memory. Roger proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War onboard the aircraft carrier USS America. He had a lifelong love of cars, collecting, and good food.
A memorial service will be held January 12, 1:00pm at Albert G Horton Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk, VA 23434.
