NEW KENT COUNTY — Shirley Marie Glenn, 89, of New Kent, VA passed away November 2, 2021. She loved being a devoted wife, mother and homemaker who enjoyed the holidays and entertaining her family. Marie’s love for children lead her to work at New Kent Elementary and baby sat numerous children for years. She also worked at Makemie Woods Presbyterian Camp.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband Henry H. Glenn, Sr.
She is survived by four children Patty Walters (Don), Henry Glenn (Wanda), Linda Allen (Willie), Tessy Holley (Tony); seven grandchildren Tommy Clark, Stephanie Rowan, Jacob Allen, Alan Glenn, Liberty Walton, Henry Glenn III and Savanna Holley; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, November 6th at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA 23140. The family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
