WILLIAMSBURG — Patrick W. Brophy, 78, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna; father, Lawrence; brother, Kevin; and brother-in-law, Stephen.
Patrick was born in Orange, N.J., and graduated from Rutgers University in 1964. After serving in the Army National Guard, he worked for many years in the New York area. He was an avid football fan and was often found at Zable Stadium on game days.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; son, Patrick; daughter, Kathleen (Kelly); grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan, and Ashley (Steven); great-grandchildren, Ryland, Piper, and Kimber; sister, Laurene; brother, Brian (Linda); and many loving nieces and nephews.
A service will take place at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, June 24, at Saint Bede Catholic Church, Williamsburg.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Patrick’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Riverside Hospice.
