WILLIAMSBURG — In loving memory of Shamarie Roosevelt Edgar Griffin, 11, who departed this life Sunday, March 7, 2021, at home.
He leaves to mourn his memory his mother, Merika Johnson Griffin; father, Roosevelt Griffin Jr.; three sisters, Charisma Griffin (his twin), Alexia Griffin and Jayden Griffin; grandmother, Marlene Patrica Brown; grandfathers, Edgar Brown and Roosevelt Griffin Sr.; 34 uncles and eight aunts; a host of other friends and relatives; and very supportive friend, Elisa Grady.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, March 14, at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 4002 Ironbound Road, Williamsburg. All in attendance must wear masks and adhere to social-distancing guidelines.
