WILLIAMSBURG — Angela Capps Barbee, 45, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021.
She was a native of Newport News. She graduated from Menchville High School and Riverside School of Nursing.
Angela was preceded in death by her father, Nelson Howard Capps; grandparents, Sam and Lila Atkinson, Howard and Hazel Capps and Ed and Jean Grace; and aunt, Donna Youngblood.
She is survived by her mother and “who’s your stepdaddy,” Dottie and Ed Grace; sister, Lisa Capps; brothers, Dwayne Grace (Heather) and John Grace (Ashley); and partner and best friend, Tiro Navara.
Angela was also the best “unkie” to Eric and Evan, Damion and Kailee, Eve and Solomon and Ty and Ollie, who she loved so much. Angela is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Debbie and Bill Stembler, Dee and Vince Kidd and Larry and Kim Capps. And many loving cousins and friends.
