NEWPORT NEWS — Veronica Catherine Gray passed away Friday, Dec. 25, 2020. She was born in Saintes, France, and grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
After moving around as a military spouse, she was a resident of the Peninsula for over 18 years. Veronica was very active in the art community and was an independent artist focusing on acrylic paints. She was an active member of Calvary Reformed Presbyterian Church.
Veronica was preceded in death by her father, Michal Kedzierski.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Dale Gray; son, Max Gray of Rosamond, California; two grandchildren, Krista and Mason; and a host of friends and church family. Veronica was an animal lover, and she leaves behind her cat, Sterling.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 31, at Calvary Reformed Presbyterian Church, with interment to follow in Peninsula Memorial Park. Facial masks and social distancing will be required.
