WILLIAMSBURG — Steven James Slater, 31, passed away suddenly Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020.
He was a big-hearted and loving young man who will be missed by his parents, Bernice and James Slater; sister, Mollie; grandparents, Albert and Betty Slater and Mollie Tauscher of Greeneville, Tennessee; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a multitude of friends, many who he had loved for decades. Steven is also survived by four godsons he dearly loved, Trevor, Travis, William and Joseph, along with their mother, Tammy.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 22, at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Lanexa. Please observe all necessary Covid-19 precautions.
