Benikka P. Green, 38, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019.
She was born in Washington, D.C., before relocating with family to Williamsburg. She spent her life surrounded by a family who loved and cherished her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth Scoggins and Benny Green; and sister, Tia Tucker. She is survived by her sisters, Maria (Neal) Colbert and Tamica Scoggins; brothers, Edward Scoggins Sr. and Zollie (Tratisha) Hayes; nieces, Camille Wright, Deanna Harris, and Taleea Harris; nephews, Rodney (Tiann) Scoggins, Edward Scoggins
Jr. and Alan Harris Jr.; great-nieces, Quantaija Wright and D’Asia Williams; great-nephews, Melquan Wright and Davante Scoggins; and great-great-nephew Amar’e Whitaker.
A graveside ceremony for family and friends will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 5, at Williamsburg Memorial Park Cemetery, 130 King William Drive, Williamsburg.
