On Monday, Nov. 25, 2019, Iris Sylvia Judkins celebrated her 69th birthday on earth. On the same day, she entered her heavenly home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was a native of Williamsburg, most currently residing in Richmond.
Survivors include her sisters, Connie E. Judkins and Olga T. Hale; and niece, Kailah N. Hale.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 29, at Mount Gilead Baptist Church with a Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Omega Omega ceremony commencing at 6 p.m. A service celebrating her life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 30, at Bethel Restoration Center. Interment will follow in Mount Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church by 12:30 p.m.
