Sandra Jenkins, 71, passed away May 21, 2019. A lifelong resident of Hampton, she loved cats and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son, Richard C. “Ricky” Burris Sr., and his wife, Tracey, and children, Richard C. Burris Jr. and Maxwell Connor Burris; son, Christopher C. Burris, and his wife, Angela, and children, Amanda Arroyo and Leah Burris; grandchildren, Cameron Byrd, and Harper Grainger; daughter, Cori L. Hamlin, and her children, Jalen M. Hamlin, Alvin M. Hamlin Jr., Jasmine D. Hamlin and Spencer C. Burris; and her grandchildren, Phoenix J. Knox and Hendrix D. Knox.
A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, May 24, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Sandra’s memory to a charity of your choice.
