Robert Arnold Graytock, 83, worked in computer security with the CIA and DOJ

Robert Arnold Graytock, 83, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018. He was born Dec. 30, 1934, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

Robert attended the University of Scranton and the University of Detroit, where he was awarded a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and was elected to Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu, honorary electrical engineering societies. He later graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, having earned a Master of Science and Engineering Degree in 1972.

Robert married Norma J. Talarico Oct. 18, 1969, at St. Bernard’s Church, Bradford, Pennsylvania. Robert was employed at Westinghouse, General Electric, the Central Intelligence Agency and the Department of Justice, where he was in computer security for more than 25 years.

Robert is survived by his wife of 49 years; daughter, Tara Ann Neville, and son-in-law, Thomas J. Neville III; grandchildren, Thomas J. Neville IV, Trey J. Neville, Trent J. Neville, Tyler J. Neville, Taylor Ann Neville and Todd J. Neville; sister, Barbara Graytock Troyan; and brother, Jerome Graytock. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Gina Marie Graytock; and parents, Michael and Anna Graytock.

A visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 18, at Bucktrout of Williamsburg Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be offered at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 19, at Saint Bede Catholic Church, Williamsburg. Burial will be held at noon, Saturday, Oct. 20, at Fairfax Memorial Park, Fairfax.

The family would like to thank Woodhaven Hall-Williamsburg Landing for their kind care of Robert during his illness.
