Carolyn Elizabeth Gagneux Humphries, 88, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves behind many happy memories shared with her husband of almost 60 years, Jack Humphries; and their daughter, Jackie Pagnucco, and her husband, Jag, of Aspen, Colorado.
Carolyn was preceded in death by their infant son, Randy; her parents, Albert and Helen Gagneux; sister, Mary Grizzard; along with brothers, Charles Gagneux and Lynn Gagneux. She is survived by her sister, Irma Goldsmith, and her husband, Chuck, of Suffolk; brother, Albert Gagneux, and his wife, Flossye, of Plano, Texas; along with many nieces and nephews.
Carolyn enjoyed being a longtime member of Great Neck Baptist Church and spent many wonderful years traveling with family and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 18, at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will continue to celebrate her life at a reception.
