Calvin O. Horton, 69, of Virginia Beach, passed away Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he retired from the U.S. Navy as an aviation storekeeper after 26 years of service.
Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Pauline Horton; and brother, Grady Horton Jr.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Pia F. Horton.
A prayer service will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 5, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at the funeral home chapel.
