Tyler Nichols Brown, 40, had a passion for fishing

Tyler Nichols Brown, 40, of Virginia Beach, Va., passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018.

Tyler graduated from First Colonial High School, where he played on the state championship baseball team. He later graduated from Arizona State University. Tyler enjoyed traveling and watching baseball. He was an avid fisherman who loved sharing his passion with his nephews.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Richard W. Jones III; and great-uncle, Royal C. Madry Jr.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Anne Nichols Jones; father, G. Scott Brown Jr., and his wife, Lynda; sister, Ashley Royal Powell, and her husband, Barry; brother, G.S. “Scooter” Brown III; nephews, Caleb Wayne Shelton and Caiden Eric Shelton; along with extended family members and friends.

A funeral was held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 2, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Princess Anne Chapel, with Pastor Ed Martin officiating. Burial was held in Colonial Grove Memorial Park.
