Lyndon Douglass Hamm, 69, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018. Lyndon was born in Portsmouth, Va.
He was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army. Lyndon was the founder and the first president of the local Pontiac GTO club and an auto and Harley Davidson enthusiast. He graduated from Princess Anne High School and retired from the Autoport Garage at NOB after 18 years of service.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Jason Hamm (Ieasha) of Virginia Beach and Jarrett Hamm (Shannon) of Chesapeake; brother, Daniel Hamm (Cheryl) of Chesapeake; grandson, Bryce Hamm; and nephews and nieces, Chris, Doug, Kim and Waverly.
The family will receive friends from 4-5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, with a service immediately following. Friends are invited to join the family for a reception after the service.
