Barbara “Bobbie” Elizabeth Pickeral, 82, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at her home in Virginia Beach, Va., surrounded by her loving family.
Bobbie was devoted to her family. Prior to moving to Virginia Beach, she volunteered at the library for the City of Falls Church School System. Her interest included travel, bullfights in Mexico, theater, and classes in everything from Spanish to Tai Chi. After moving to Virginia Beach, she became an avid reader and enjoyed attending the theater. Family, friends and fun were always the most important aspect of her life.
She is survived by her husband, George William Pickeral; children, Judy Nichols, and her husband, Russell, of Virginia Beach, Vicky Hays of Virginia Beach and Michael Pickeral, and his wife, Deborah, of Stafford, Va.; grandchildren, Justin Nichols, Lindsey Nichols, Seth Pickeral and Brook Pickeral; and great-grandson, Jackson Nichols.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 6, at Rosewood Memorial Park, 631 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach.
