Qatada Abdul Qayyum, 43, of Virginia Beach, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, in Myrtle Beach, S.C. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and served in the U.S. Navy.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
