Cherie Marie Scott, 77, passed away Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017. She was born June 10, 1940, to the late Guy and Jessie Templin in Los Angeles, Calif.
She was educated in Syracuse, N.Y., and later taught preschool and mentally challenged children in Phoenix, Ariz. She was member of King’s Grant Presbyterian Church, Virginia Beach.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Robert LaRose (Kathy) of Virginia Beach and John T. of California; daughter, Corinna Lunsford (Johnny); one sister, Donna Fralino of Phoenix, Ariz.; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, church family and friends.
A memorial celebration will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at King’s Grant Presbyterian Church, 745 Little Neck Road, Virginia Beach.
