Louise I. White, 73, was called to eternal rest Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. Her life’s journey began on June 5, 1944, the daughter of the late Florence and Thomas Roane of Charles City, Va.
She was a longtime member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
She leaves to treasure her blessed memories, her devoted husband, Robert T. White Sr.; daughter, Pamela Green (Langston); sons, Robert T. White Jr., Terrence L. White and Rodney A. White; sisters, Irene Ruttley (Eric), Linda Moore and Florence Roane; brothers, Albert Roane and David Roane; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and many caring friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald A. Ellis officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 4362 Ironbound Road by noon Wednesday. Mrs. White may be viewed at the church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday prior to services.
