Clinton Stevenson Sr., 77, former head chef at Lighthouse Restaurant

Clinton Stevenson Sr., 77, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. He was born March 4, 1939, in Princess Anne County to the late Jacob and Bessie Stevenson. Clinton was the head chef at the Lighthouse Restaurant for many years, and then worked at Walmart for over 10 years as a greeter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Jacob, Robert, James and Charlie Stevenson.

Clinton is survived by his wife, Alice Stevenson; two daughters, Teresa Proctor and Beverly Crowder (Dennis); son, Anthony Stevenson (Dena); grandchildren, Tershel Phillips, Whitney Crowder, Antwoan Kearney and Sherika Cason; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at Beach Funeral & Cremation Services Inc. A homegoing celebration will be held at noon Thursday, March 24, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with interment in Colonial Grove Memorial Park.
