Dolores Marie Sturman, 90, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016. She was born on April 25, 1925, to the late Anna and Joseph Kotalik in Ashley, Pa. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Paula Rooney. Dolores was a former bookkeeper with Bayside Hospital. She was both a mother and father to her children.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen S. Loyd, Lisa Roshto (Mitch) and James J. Sturman (Danna); sisters, Kathryn McCawley and Lucille Marino (Lou); seven grandchildren, Matthew Seymour (Julia), Jennifer Seymour, Ellen Gehring (Zachary), Mitchell Roshto, Aaron Roshto, Nick Sturman and Kelsey Sturman; and one great-grandchild, Bellamy T. Gehring.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, in Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park.
