Charlotte Louise Fitzell Slagle, 91, died Tuesday, March 1, 2016. She was born in Kingsville, Md., at her beloved Walnut Hill Farm.
She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, Jack L. Slagle; son, Thomas Lee ‘Tommy’ Slagle; daughter, Susan Flanigan; and brother, Walter Fitzell.
Louise is survived by her son, Jack C. Slagle, and his wife, Cecile, of Virginia Beach; daughter, Tina Blaz, and her husband, Jim of Apple Valley, Minn; nine grandchildren, Charlotte Terry, Shelley Slagle, Steve Slagle (Misty), Libby Flanigan (Mike), Jeremy Blaz (Alicia), Jack Slagle (Kirsten), Sam Slagle (Adrian), Jessica Graves (Zach) and Jonathan Slagle; 13 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Marion Schneider of Colorado.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 4, in Princess Anne Memorial Park.
