Vivian Baines Taliaferro, 85, died Saturday, February 27, 2016.
A loving wife and devoted mother, Vivian was born in Princess Anne County on September 15, 1930. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John; parents, Marvin Charlie Baines and Icer Amelia Baines Whitehurst; and her three brothers, M.C., Calvin and John.
A lifelong resident of Virginia Beach and lifetime member of Eastern Shore Chapel, Vivian leaves behind to cherish her memory her sister, Sally Wood (Dalton); sister-in-law, Betty Baines; four children and spouses, Jeanne Schemering (Michael), Kem (Jean), Bob (Traci) and Alan (Barbara); and eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services at Eastern Shore Chapel Episcopal Church are pending.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad.
