Richard Neely Breen, 77, died Friday, February 26, 2016, at a local hospital. He was a native of Kittanning, Pa., and resident of Virginia Beach.
He was a retired Navy veteran with over 50 years of combined service.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard D. Breen of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; mother, Patricia, of Virginia Beach; and son, John Breen of Norfolk. He is survived by Peggy Breen, his loving wife of 55 years, of Virginia Beach; his sister, Nancy Lamm of Booneville, Ark.; his son, Todd Breen, and his wife, Vickie, of Fort Knox, Ky.; his granddaughter, Erika Breen of Virginia Beach; his grandsons, Michael Breen of Hawaii, and Nicholas and Alexander Breen of King, N.C.
A graveside service will be held in Colonial Grove Memorial Park at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 4.
