Joel Edward James, 58, died unexpectedly in his sleep Saturday, February 27, 2016.
He enjoyed talking to people and demonstrating primitive woodworking. He was born July 26, 1957, in Elkhart, Ind., to the late Howard and Catherine James. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Tim; and wife, Carrie James.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn James; daughters, Sarah James and Hannah James; stepchildren, Sarah Drye and Jeremy Selden; four brothers, Howard and Judy James, David and Lynne James, Dan and Paula James and Mark and Christi James; and nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. Services will be held at a later date.
