William Christopher ‘Billy’ Palenski, 22, graduate of New Kent High School

William Christopher “Billy” Palenski, 22, of Lanexa, passed away unexpectedly February 15, 2016.

Billy was a 2011 graduate of New Kent High School. He loved spending time with his family, friends and cats. Billy was an avid video gamer and enjoyed cheering for the Redskins, Orioles and Wizards.

He spent many hours fishing on the Chickahominy River. His favorite food was tacos. His greatest joy of all was spending time with his brothers.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William Winter (Alice) and paternal grandmother, Mary Palenski.

Billy is survived by his parents, Daniel M. and Jane Palenski of Lanexa; his grandfather, Daniel E. Palenski (Theresa) of Springfield; four brothers, Martin Palenski of Tennessee, Nathan Palenski (Aki) of Herndon, Justin Palenski of Lanexa and Danny Palenski (Molly) of Moseley.

A funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, February 20, at St. Olaf Catholic Church, 104 Norge Lane, Williamsburg, VA 23188. Interment will follow in Williamsburg Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA 23140.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the charity, Extra Life.
