Ida Bland Lipscomb Dawson, of Williamsburg, died Oct. 13, 2015, at the age of 72.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hudson Britt Lipscomb and Grace Pearl Carter, and her husband Bobby Dawson.
Ida is survived by her son, Bobby Dawson Jr. (Christine); grandchildren, Brittany (Jimmy), Chris and Grace Dawson; great-grandchildren, Camila and Zander; and brother, M.C. Lipscomb.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th St., West Point. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Brett Reed Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
