Corrie Elizabeth Shaner, of Williamsburg, died Sept. 28, 2015, at the age of 65.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard W. Dunn; mother, Raydene Dunn; and sister, Cathy E. Dunn.
Corrie retired from the McDonald Army Hospital in Ft. Eustis as a patient affairs representative. She enjoyed surf fishing, going to Disney World and spoiling her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Ray Shaner; daughter, Tracey Lynn Hunt and her husband, Steven M. Hunt Jr.; and grandchildren, Shelby N. Hunt, Steven M. M. Hunt, Tyler M. Hunt and Jordan E. Hunt.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg. Interment will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, at Quantico National Cemetery.
