William Robert Monaghan, of Williamsburg, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, with his loving wife of 68 years, Florence Kearney Monaghan, by his side. He was 91.
He is survived by his brother, Donald (Patricia) and many loving nephews and nieces near and far.
Bob was a member of St. Bede Catholic Church. He loved his job constructing steel in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, 2015, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, followed by a procession to Williamsburg Memorial Park for a graveside service with military honors.
