Robert “Bobby” Bruce Rapp, of Yorktown, died suddenly on Monday, Aug. 10, 2015, at his home. He was 53.
Bobby grew up in York County and graduated from Tabb High School. He was a longtime employee of Aggregate Industries and retired recently due to health issues. He was loved and respected by those who knew him.
Bobby is survived by his father and mother, Bob and Pat Leggett Rapp, and his sister, Melanie Rapp Beale and her husband Tim.
Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015, at Peninsula Memorial Park in Newport News. Visitation will be held immediately following the services at the home of the Rapp family, 113 River Point Drive in the Tabb section of York County.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Virginia Diabetes Council, 2309 Edenbridge Court, Henrico, Virginia 23233.
