Jean Ann Jones, a native of Floral Park, Long Island, N.Y. and Peninsula resident since 1988, died Monday, June 30, 2014, at the age of 92.
She was a member of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church in Yorktown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Jones.
She is survived by a special niece, Diane Jenkins, of Florida; sister, Audrey Shumaker, of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2014, at St. Kateri Tekakwitha with Father Larry Mullaney officiating. Interment will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk.
