VIRGINIA BEACH — People with a penchant for craft beer and food with roots at the Beach are in luck.
Hunt Club Farm’s second-annual Flavor event plans to serve 44 dishes prepared by local chefs, paired with 44 different craft beers Saturday, July 15 from 5-9 p.m. at its 28-acre London Bridge Road location.
Dishes like sweet potato biscuits, balsamic strawberries and country ham basil and tomato salads from Beach spots like Tessa’s Creations and The Bee and The Biscuit will be served with beer from 22 participating breweries including Wasserhund Brewing Company to Big Ugly Brewing.
Guests can also enjoy live music and silent auctions while they indulge.
Tickets start at $39 in advance and are $50 the day of the event. VIP tables that can seat 10 people are available for $750, which include banquet seating, signature sample glasses and growlers.
According to a press release, the money collected will benefit the Princess Anne Hunt Club Foundation, which funds scholarships and agricultural education programs.
