WILLIAMSBURG — The Jamestown Settlement & American Revolution Museum at Yorktown has a list of upcoming festive holiday events and experiences for guests who want to experience the holidays from a historical perspective.
The two history museums tell the story of the nation’s beginnings in the 17th and 18th centuries and the convergence of Virginia Indian, English and West Central African cultures using immersive gallery exhibits and films and interactive living history in outdoor re-created settings, according to a press release.
Admission to each museum is $18 for adults, and $9 for children (ages 6-12). There are also combination tickets available priced at $30 for adults and $15 for children (ages 6-12). Children ages five and under get in free. Residents of York County, James City County, and the City of Williamsburg, including William & Mary students, receive complimentary admission with proof of residency, Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation says.
