JAMES CITY COUNTY — The James City County Police Department (JCCPD) announced that it has promoted Sgt. Gregory White to Lieutenant.
White’s previous experience includes serving JCCPD as a Patrol Officer, Swat Operator, Sniper/Observer, Field Training Officer, Patrol Sergeant, and Traffic Unit Sergeant. His current role is with the Criminal Investigations Unit in the Support Services Division.
According to a JCCPD news release, over the years of his service, Sgt. White has received several awards and decorations, including the Supervisory Service Award.
The newly-promoted Lt. attended Old Dominion University (ODU) and is a graduate of the Leadership Institution at Christopher Newport University (CNU).
Sgt. White stepped into his new role on July 1.
