JAMES CITY COUNTY — The James City County Police Department (JCCPD) is investigating further incidents of thefts from unlocked vehicles that occurred in the Stonehouse neighborhood.
According to JCCPD, multiple items were stolen, including cash and credit cards, during the overnight hours of May 28-29.

The incidents took place a day after another reported incident of vehicular thefts in the Governor’s Land neighborhood May 26-27.
JCCPD reported further thefts in the Fenwick Hills and Ironbound Square neighborhoods during the overnight hours of May 28-29, where an unknown person or persons entered several unlocked vehicles, police said. Multiple items were again taken during these incidents, including cash and credit cards. Additionally, several unlocked vehicles were stolen.

Users of both the Crime Line and P3 Tips may remain anonymous, do not have to testify in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 if the information provided leads to an arrest.
JCCPD reminds residents to remove valuables from vehicles and always lock the doors.
