TOANO— James City County Police have arrested a second person in connection with an April 27 shooting in a parking lot in the 7900 block of Sterling Court in Toano.
Andre Ladaryl Jones, 40, who lives on the same block, was charged with reckless handling of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, shooting into an occupied dwelling and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Police said the charges stem from an argument with Chace Anthony Roberts that escalated into gunfire.
Roberts, 29, was arrested April 28 and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and reckless handling of a firearm.
No one was injured, but several vehicles and buildings were damaged.
Both men are being held without bond at the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional arrests are possible.
