York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office Responds to Bank Robbery, Suspect at large

YORK COUNTY — The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office (YPSO) is investigating a bank robbery incident that occurred Friday morning at around 11:55 a.m.

According to YPSO, Deputies with the York-Poquoson Sherrif’s Office responded to the Wells Fargo at 820 E. Rochambeau Drive to a report of a robbery that had just occurred.

The suspect was described as an older white male with grey hair, wearing a white shirt and black vest or jacket with cut-off sleeves. The suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of United States currency.
